Crunchy Green Pea Cookies

I still remember a few years back after I tried the Tat Sun Green Pea Cookies, I fell in love with it immediately. Although I am not a nut person, but it tastes so good that I am addicted to it. So I have decided to bake this cookies for Chinese New Year.

I found this cookies easy to bake and less time consuming. But is super addictive!!! The original recipe has been tweaked by my baking friend, Jenny by a bit.

Ingredients:
150g Fried Green Peas (Grinded)
150g Plain Flour
70g Icing Sugar
1/4 tsp Salt (Omit if buying the roasted green peas have already tossed with salt)
92g Oil

Method:
  1. Put green peas into a food processor and bring finely. Set aside.
  2. Shift plain flour and icing sugar into a mixing bowl.
  3. Add green pea and salt, and mix well.
  4. Add oil and mix till a dough is formed.
  5. Roll dough into 7g each.
  6. Bake at preheated oven at 180 deg C for 25 mins
  7. Cool completely before storing the cookies into an air tight container.
