Muah Chee

Tonight, I have a strong craving for Muah Chee decided to make it using my HappyCall Pan.



This is a very simple local dessert.

Ingredients:

2 tbsp of oil

1 cup of Glutinous Rice Flour

3/4 cup of Water

1 pkt of Camel Ground Peanut Powder (Already comes with Sugar)

Sugar (Optional)

1/2 pkt of Sesame seeds

Method:

  1. Wash the sesame seeds with water and drain it.
  2. Put 1 tbsp of oil into the pan.
  3. Use low medium fire.
  4. When the oil is heated up, put in the sesame seeds and fry till fragrant and dry.
  5. Take out the sesame seeds from the pan and turn off the fire.
  6. Mix the sesame seeds with the peanut powder.
  7. Mix the Glutinous Rice Flour with the water. Mix into a smooth batter.
  8. Put in another 1 tbsp of oil into the pan.
  9. Use low medium fire to heat the oil.
  10. When the oil is heated up, pour in the batter.
  11. Stir continuously in the pan till a dough is formed.
  12. When the dough is form, hit the dough with the wooden ladle a few times and close the lid.
  13. Flip to the another side of the pan and hit the dough with the wooden ladle for a few times.
  14. Repeat this for another 10 minutes in 4 sessions.
  15. When the dough is a little brown on each side, take out the dough and dump into the peanut powder.
  16. Cut into small pieces and ready to serve.
